Beginnings

I like to write. Yet, it has been awhile since I've had the courage to put things down on paper. I thought that this might "help". I am about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime. A motorcycle ride to (and back from) Alaska!
I have always been intrigued by that state and wanted to travel there, however, I had NO IDEA it would ever happen on a motorcycle!
I'm very excited and apprehensive!
As I go from day to day. I'd like to treat this as sort of a journal. We will see what happens. I am making myself more and more vulnerable and it's like shocks through my system. I don't like my walls coming down that have protected me for so long and yet, it's refreshing to learn to trust myself.
So, I am hoping that in this blog there will be, no only the facts of trips, but, my thoughts and some feelings along the way. A journey.
